Brian Romanelli is an Associate Principal and Studio Leader at SCB. With over 17 years of experience, he has worked across a range of diverse sectors including residential and mixed-used, hospitality, adaptive reuse, aviation, and education. In his role, Brian is responsible for leading all aspects of technical oversight, project management, client communication, team development, and design coordination, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines.

Brian’s management style is rooted in design-driven collaboration and mentorship, fostering an environment which prioritizes teamwork and creativity and ensuring that each project benefits from a collective exchange of ideas and expertise. His current projects include Wind Creek Chicago Southland Casino & Hotel, 1234 W. Randolph and the United Clubs at Houston and Washington Dulles Airports.  

Brian first started his career at SCB in 2006. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
