Joe Dietz is an Associate Principal and Studio Leader in SCB’s Chicago office. As a project manager, he leads large-scale mixed-use and multifamily projects working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure the highest quality in the design, coordination, and execution of projects. Joe’s solution-focused management style fosters a strong and collaborative team approach to delivering projects that balance an owner’s program, schedule, and the technical requirements to ensure a successful project.

In his 15+ years of experience, Joseph has overseen high-rise residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse projects across the country. Recent projects at SCB include 350 North Canal, a 33-story multifamily high-rise development in downtown Chicago; a transformational mixed-use residential, retail, and arts complex in Ft. Lauderdale’s Flagler Arts & Technology (FAT) Village; and 903 Peachtree, a 32-story multifamily tower in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood.

Joe is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He is also a LEED Accredited Professional and certified with NCARB. He holds and Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
