Andrew Monaghan is a Principal and Interior Design Director at SCB, bringing over 18 years of experience and an award-winning portfolio of work across corporate interiors, aviation, and mixed-use environments. His projects range from 5,000 square feet to over 3 million square feet, spanning North America, China, and the Middle East.

As Design Director, Andrew leads with a focus on creating impactful, experience-driven environments that integrate people, place, brand, and function. His design approach is grounded in deeply understanding each client’s culture, goals, and operations, allowing him to develop tailored, lasting design solutions that evolve with organizations over time. He brings a strong emphasis on storytelling, ensuring that every project reflects a clear narrative and sense of purpose.

Andrew’s recent work includes the award-winning repositioning of 10 & 120 South Riverside, —recognized as a Best of Year finalist by Interior Design magazine, reinvigorating twin corporate office towers in downtown Chicago through a new ground floor experience and tenant amenity program; the Harrison Street Headquarters in Fulton Market; SCB’s new headquarters at 330 North Wabash; and the latest iteration of the Polaris Lounge and United Club at O’Hare International Airport, reflecting SCB’s growing leadership in hospitality-forward aviation design.

He is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and a LEED Accredited Professional. Andrew earned his Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College.
