Groundbreaking for Cal Poly Humboldt’s Historic Student Housing Project

Date Published

Last week, SCB was proud to attend the groundbreaking for a new student residential community at Cal Poly Humboldt. Designed to house 1000 students, the project is the largest residential project in the University’s history and an integral part of the institution’s polytechnic transformation.

“As a residential campus, we are trying to create a place where students can thrive all the years they are in this community. Building a vibrant residence hall away from home may bring that sense of belonging that is critical to the success of all students who come to Cal Poly Humboldt,” said Cal Poly President Tom Jackson, Jr.

Congratulations to Cal Poly Humboldt, our design/build partners at Sundt Construction, and the whole design team. See you for the ribbon cutting in 2025!
