The United Airlines Club and Global First Lounges at Heathrow International Airport’s new Terminal 2 creatively deliver first-of-its-kind, iconic, uniquely branded United lounges that offer the utmost in customer experience.
SCB designed a series of distinct and comfortable spaces to offer customers many opportunities to feel relaxed while traveling. Using timepieces throughout to represent detail and precision, the lounges are shaped into three zones: the United Club, with signature furniture pieces, vintage aviation artwork, and sculpted organic installations; Refresh Suites, featuring high-end spa-quality shower and bath facilities; and the Global First Lounge. With unobstructed views of the tarmac, the lounge culminates in a modern English Tea Lounge with an oversized Big Ben wall clock and a private wine room.
The lounge establishes a new standard for international lounge design, elevating the concept of traveler luxury through thoughtful amenity offerings and tasteful, spa-like details.
