Solomon Cordwell Buenz seeks Architect 1 in Chicago, IL (multiple openings); Duties: design and technical development of an assigned project working under Sr. Architect or Principal; reviews work for compliance with basic zoning, building code, accessibility, and other regulatory requirements; prepares design and technical drawings and solutions to architectural problems; contributes to BIM execution plan and work plan in with senior team leaders including the timing and format of models, drawings, mock-ups, schedules, data summaries and specifications; develops, design and details, coordinates work with project team and outside project consultants; perform all construction phase activities. Telecommuting occasionally permitted. Position is based at company’s location in Chicago, Illinois with option to work from home 1 day per week. Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Architecture required plus 6 months experience in architecture field. Must be licensed to practice architecture in U.S. Salary: $110,198.
