Rob Meder is a Senior Designer and Associate Principal in SCB’s Chicago office where he brings 12+ years of experience in the design of aviation, large-scale and urban mixed-use, and commercial office projects. Rob leads design with a strong commitment to innovation and a mission to create a positive impact on people through well-designed, high-performing architecture.
Rob is currently involved with the new O’Hare Global Terminal, contributing invaluable experience and design expertise to the project. His recent projects include the Oak Brook headquarters for Hub Group; 625 West Adams, a 20-story speculative office building in Chicago’s West Loop; and 180 Walnut, a new multi-tenant office building at the Banks of Cincinnati riverfront development.
Rob is a leader in the firm’s Office Research & Development Committee, and founder of SCB’s Aviation Research + Development Committee. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and holds a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from Kent State University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, respectively. He is the Vice-Chair of the Downtown Branch of the Illinois Tech Alumni Association.
