Rob Meder is an Associate Principal and Aviation Studio Leader at SCB’s Chicago office, leading the design and development of aviation-focused projects. With over 15 years of experience, he specializes in aviation, large-scale urban mixed-use, and commercial office developments. He approaches each project with a commitment to innovation and a mission to create high-performing, impactful architecture that enhances the passenger experience.

Rob is currently contributing his experience and design expertise to the new O’Hare Global Terminal project. Within SCB, he plays a key leadership role as a member of the firm’s Office Research & Development Committee and is the founder of the Aviation Research + Development Committee.

Rob is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University and a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is also certified by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Terminal Planning and Design.
