Jeremy Bamberger is a Senior Architect and Associate Principal at SCB. With over 15 years of experience designing complex, mixed-use projects ranging from the urban to the granular, Jeremy is passionate about solving the most pressing issues facing our cities in a manner that is rooted in place, context, and coherent design. Jeremy’s leadership of the Computational Design R+D Group on the West Coast is informed by his penchant for developing and incorporating an array of automation and machine-learning optimization tools in his design process, first to maximize value and then to rapidly iterate and test many potential design solutions.
Jeremy has made significant contributions to the design of many large-scale projects across the firm, including Times Mirror Square, the Potrero Yard Modernization Project, and Transbay Block 4.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a Housing Action Coalition (HAC) board member. Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Architecture from California College of Arts.
