As an Associate Principal and Project Manager at SCB, Chadd Harrison has 20+ years of experience at the firm and 25+ years in the field of architecture. His responsibilities include overseeing all phases of a project, from inception to completion, and serving as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and construction teams.
Over the course of his career, Chadd has built a diverse architectural portfolio, leading many large and complex projects across several market sectors, including higher education, mixed-use, multifamily residential, hospitality, and retail. His passion for high-performance buildings and sustainable design can be seen across his full portfolio of work, including Oberlin College’s Peter B. Lewis Gateway Building, a LEED Platinum hotel and conference center; Tooker House, an award-winning LEED Gold living/learning community for the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University; and Francis Hall, a LEED Gold undergraduate residence hall and Honors College at Loyola University Chicago.
He is currently managing a living/learning community and academic building for the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University Residence Hall at Arizona State University and the adaptive re-use of a Sheraton Hotel into student housing at Syracuse University. In addition to his higher education work, Chadd has also managed complex projects across a variety of sectors including a new United Club and expansion of the Polaris Lounge at O’Hare International Airport and the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the largest in the world.
Chadd is a licensed Architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and a certified LEED AP BD+C professional. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science and Master in Architecture.
