Victoria Place Recognized with Honorable Mention Award at 2025 AIA Honolulu Design Awards
SCB’s design for Victoria Place and Victoria Ward Park has been recognized with an Honorable Mention Award from AIA Honolulu.
Victoria Place is a 40-story, 750,000-square-foot residential tower in Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki. The building and Victoria Ward Park are part of the Ward Village Masterplan, one of the largest LEED-ND Platinum Certified communities in the world.
Designed in the spirit of Honolulu’s mid-century kamaʻāina clubs, Victoria Place blends gracious hospitality with indoor-outdoor living through open pathways, natural materials, and views of the Pacific Ocean and Koʻolau Mountains. Seamlessly connected to Victoria Ward Park, the project fosters wellness, walkability, and community life with access to Ala Moana Beach Park and spaces for cultural events.
We celebrate this honor together with our longtime client, the Howard Hughes Corporation. “Our partnership with SCB has been instrumental in helping bring the vision of Victoria Place—and the broader Ward Village neighborhood—to life,” says Doug Johnstone, President, Hawai’i Region & National Condominium Development. “Their design captures a refined balance of classic and contemporary, elevating the architectural character of the neighborhood and reinforcing our commitment to design excellence.”
