SCB is working with communities on Chicago’s Far South Side on a development plan to encourage economic development and equitable access around four new stations of the Red Line Extension. The plan “seeks to promote development without the displacement of existing residents and achieve community-focused benefits such as affordable housing, local economic development, and environmental sustainability” in communities near the four proposed Red Line stations, according to the Plan Commission.
