Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph King, AIA, LEED AP, to Studio Leader in the firm’s San Francisco office.

“When Joe joined SCB, he quickly established himself as not only an immensely talented designer, but also a strong team leader and mentor,” said SCB Principal Ben Wrigley. “These skills will certainly serve him well in this new role as we continue to grow our west coast practice.”

A Senior Designer specializing in urban mixed-use and multifamily residential projects throughout the west coast, Joseph also teaches graduate design studios at the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout his career, his work has been recognized with numerous design awards and featured in numerous publications. Joe’s recent projects at SCB include 1900 Broadway, a 452-unit mixed-use apartment and office tower in Oakland, and Hayes Point, a 47-story luxury condominium and office tower which recently broke ground in San Francisco.
