Devon-Sheridan TIF District Design Guidelines

Working with community citizens and a steering committee comprised of members of various neighborhood organizations, SCB prepared design guidelines for a tax increment finance (TIF) district in the Chicago neighborhoods of Rogers Park and Edgewater. The guidelines are used to govern the appearance of the development that occurs within the district's boundaries along Sheridan Road and Devon Avenue. Issues such as transit-oriented development, facades design, streetscape elements, intersection improvements, and gateway locations are explored and addressed in the guideline document.
