Drinker Biddle, a prestigious Chicago law firm, relocated their offices in December 2002 to nine floors at the top of 191 N. Wacker Drive. The design uses a modern language that is reflected in the simplicity of detailing and material usage. SCB provided consistent floor plans on all the attorney floors as well as standardized offices to promote efficiency and flexibility. In order to improve teamwork and collaboration, the planning incorporates the addition of team rooms and breakout areas on each floor. Internal corridors and private offices were located in order to capture as much natural light to the interior spaces as possible.
