The new 110,500 SF residence hall for Loyola's Lakeshore campus is located at the corner of Sheridan and Winthrop. It consists of 69 beds per floor on the typical floors and 22 beds on the ground floor for a total of 436 beds. Each typical floor has a Student Lounge, Laundry, Trash Room, Study Room, Janitor's Closet, and Telephone/Electric Room. The majority of rooms on each floor are designed for double occupancy with the remainder as single occupancy. Each room contains oak furnishings, personal storage units and a private bathroom. Each floor features group study and social rooms with dramatic views of the campus and Lake Michigan. A traditional brick and stone exterior compliments the architectural style of the campus and creates a gateway to the university from the southwest.
